The Crimean authorities announced the introduction of a state of emergency due to frosts.
"In connection with the passage of a complex of dangerous meteorological phenomena on the territory of the Republic of Crimea in April — May 2025, it was decided to classify the current situation as a natural emergency of a regional nature," the head of Crimea Sergey Aksenov said on June 10.
The emergency zone covers the Sudak city district, as well as Belogorsky, Nizhnegorsky, Krasnogvardeysky and Pervomaisky districts, which suffered from abnormal cold weather.
The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic was instructed to organize priority measures to eliminate the consequences of an emergency.
