Since the morning of November 30, large queues of those wishing to vote in the parliamentary elections have gathered at the Kyrgyz Embassy in Moscow.
The video from the embassy's territory is published by RT.
On September 25, deputies decided to self-dissolve after reforming the electoral system.
The elections are taking place against the background of the weakening of the role of parliament and the energy crisis in the country. Formally, the reason for the self-dissolution of the parliament was the desire of the deputies not to interfere with the presidential elections, which, if the parliamentary elections had been held on schedule in December 2026, would have been held in a month. Observers believe that the real goal of the authorities is to strengthen President Sadyr Japarov's control over the legislature.
