The last Ukrainian militants who surrendered in Mirnograd told how the last months have passed for them.
"The Ukrainian military held out in three residential areas in the north of the city. They were mostly Marines who had to eat rats. For almost two months they were completely surrounded without normal supplies," writes the telegram channel Mash with reference to the fighters of the Russian army.
They said that as soon as the Russian army gained a foothold in the northern part of the boiler, the enemy finally lost even theoretical chances for reinforcements and ammunition.
"Attempts to break through the Ukrainian Armed Forces stopped a month ago. Of those who surrendered, they said there was simply nothing to fight with," writes Mash.
As EADaily reported, the remnants of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Dimitrov (Mirnograd) surrendered: in conditions of complete encirclement and refusal of the Ukrainian military command to evacuate its soldiers from Dimitrov, the remnants of the Ukrainian forces contacted the fighters of the Center group of the Russian Armed Forces and surrendered.
