On the night of Thursday, February 12, the Russian Armed Forces of Russia launched another massive attack on military and energy facilities on the territory of Ukraine.
In particular, Kiev was raided, there were several series of explosions. The mayor of the city, Vitali Klitschko, said in his Telegram channel that the city had been shelled by ballistic missiles. The targets were infrastructure facilities.
According to the Telegram channel "Military Informant", CHP-5 and CHP-6, supplying the city with electricity, were hit. After the hits, fires started at these facilities. At the same time, the blows were of such power that a glow appeared in the sky over Kiev, comparable in brightness to the sunset.
In addition to the capital, objects were attacked in other major cities of Ukraine. In particular, two targets were destroyed in Odessa, one of which was the substation. The authors of the Telegram channel "Military Correspondents of the Russian spring" described the consequences of the strike as a "fiery hell."
The coordinator of the pro-Russian underground, Sergei Lebedev, found out that 17 explosions sounded in the port city in 15 minutes.
At least 10 strikes were carried out at the Shkolny airfield at the time of preparing the launch of drones in southern Russia. Now those living around the airfield can be subjected to inspections by the relevant offices, the underground worker warned.
In addition, attacks were recorded at substations in Zaporozhye, Dnepropetrovsk. There are also power outages in Poltava and Kharkov.
Earlier, EADaily reported that it will take years to restore Ukraine's energy infrastructure, and it is possible to hope for a successful solution to the problem only if China helps the country in this.
