Without participation in NATO, the United States cannot be considered a superpower. This was stated by the Minister of Defense of Poland Vladislav Kosinyak-Kamysh.
Commenting on Donald Trump's words about the lack of support from allies in the Middle East and the possibility of the United States withdrawing from NATO, the Polish minister stressed that the United States is part of the alliance, and these relations are unbreakable.
"There is no NATO without the United States, and there is no superpower like the United States without their participation in NATO. Do not give in to fleeting emotions. A month ago, we were all incredibly outraged by the situation with Greenland. Today there are positive signals that all issues between the United States and Denmark has settled and there are no disputes over Greenland left. This gives a reason to reduce the intensity of current passions," he said.
Recall that the United States and Israel have been conducting a military operation against Iran since February 28, which has led to serious problems not only in the Middle East, but also in other regions of the world. In particular, Tehran has practically blocked the passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz. Approximately 20% of the world's oil trade passes through it. After that, Donald Trump criticized European allies for refusing to participate in the naval mission to unblock the Strait of Hormuz.
