Donald Trump's address to the nation marks the end of American globalism. This was stated in the social network X by American journalist Tucker Carlson.

This is how he commented on yesterday's address by the US president to the nation regarding the Iranian war.

"Trump's speech yesterday marked the end of the global American empire. There are shocks ahead of us," writes Carlson, quoted by RIA Novosti.

The journalist believes, however, that "in the long run, this is a huge victory for the United States."

As reported by EADaily, US President Donald Trump looked tired during his address to the nation, the Spanish newspaper El Pais wrote.

"In a short twenty—minute speech, the president, speaking standing up and sounding tired, insisted that the conflict had already been won," the publication says.

It is noted that, despite the desire of the American administration to clarify the ongoing process, the owner of the White House did not share new details, limiting himself to statements that had already been made before.
