The leadership of the European Union has no reason to rejoice at the results of the parliamentary elections held in Hungary on the eve, as they will only intensify the approaching collapse of the EU.

This is the opinion of Kirill Dmitriev, Special Representative of the President of Russia for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF).

He shared his opinion on the social network X, commenting on the post of the far-right British activist Tommy Robinson, who announced the "fall" of Hungary in connection with the election results.

Robinson also predicted that Hungary under the new government could face problems similar to those observed in London, Paris and Berlin.

"This will only accelerate the disintegration of the EU. Check in four months if I'm right," Dmitriev said.

As EADaily reported, earlier the leader of the Tisa party, Peter Magyar, who won the elections in Hungary, said that Budapest would have to negotiate with Moscow anyway, regardless of the change of government. The politician also noted that he does not want to represent the interests of Ukraine in a dialogue with the Russian side.
