The popularizer of Russian cuisine and TV presenter Maxim Syrnikov died of sudden severe internal bleeding. Details are provided by RIA Novosti with reference to a source from the cook's entourage.

Shortly before his death, the TV presenter had already been admitted to the hospital and went home himself, where he wanted to be treated. Two weeks later, Syrnikov was gone, he was 60 years old.

It is known about the culinary popularizer that he was born in Leningrad in 1965, was a journalist of culinary publications and the chef of the capital's Orthodox restaurant Sunday. For many years he worked on the TV channel "Spas", where he hosted the program "Monastery cuisine", was the author of several books about the national cuisine of Russia.
