There is no madness and does not smell: The Washington shooter wanted to take revenge on Trump

The shooting at the Washington Hilton Hotel will not be the last major assassination attempt in the current electoral cycle, as the degree of political violence in the United States continues to grow. Political analyst Malek Dudakov writes about this in his telegram channel, analyzing yesterday's failed assassination attempt on President Donald Trump and his team.

"The shooter from the Washington Hilton has published his manifesto. As expected, the motives for the assassination attempt on Trump and members of his team are purely political. It doesn't smell crazy here. Cole Thomas Allen tried to avenge the victims of Epstein and the murdered children in Iran," the expert emphasizes.

The "Teacher of the Year" from California planned to slip inside the hotel during the White House Journalists' Association dinner while security was busy with protesters gathered in the district, get to the hall where the celebration was taking place with weapons, and kill members of the presidential cabinet, whom he accused of all mortal sins, Dudakov notes.

First of all, in his manifesto, the shooter points out pedophilia and the Trump team's connections with Jeffrey Epstein. In this way, he resembles a 21-year-old artist from North Carolina who tried to get into Mar-a-Lago with a shotgun and a can of gasoline. The guy was a former Trump supporter, "broken" because of the Epstein case, and wanted to get even with the president.

"But now the rise of anti-war sentiment is also playing a role. More than 70% of Americans negatively perceive the adventure in Iran and advocate an immediate end to the war without preconditions. Trump, with his militarism, turned almost the whole country against him. Hence the multimillion-dollar protests against the war in Iran, and attempts to arrange assassination attempts by radicalized individuals. The 38-day operation with the murder of children in an Iranian school has hit the psyche of American society hard, the consequences will be long—lasting," the analyst believes.

According to him, it is already obvious that the Hilton shooting will be "far from the last major assassination attempt in the current electoral cycle," since "the degree of political violence in the United States continues to grow."
