The indictment of the former head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak has given a new impetus to the corruption scandal, which can lead to serious upheavals not only in the Ukraine, but also beyond its borders.

This opinion was expressed to the TASS news agency by Ambassador-at-large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik. He believes this will deal a serious blow to the image of the head of the Kiev regime in the eyes of Western partners.

"The signal will also disperse to those international leaders who, in fact, are accomplices of such a laundering office called "Ukraine". So the start of a big corruption scandal has been given, its development will entail quite serious upheavals not only inside Ukraine, but also beyond its borders," Miroshnik said.

He noted that it is almost impossible to hide what is happening inside the country. In addition, increasing pressure on Yermak may open access to information regarding the possible corruption activities of Zelensky himself.

"There are practically no chances to keep this scandal inside the country and ignore it. Zelensky has every chance to get the label of a person to whom huge sums of money were allocated, and he was an outspoken corrupt official mastering this money," the diplomat stated.

The representative of the Foreign Ministry recalled that the Ukrainian anti-corruption authorities are only formally national, but in reality they are directly led by the United States.

In this regard, the ambassador suggested that the next round of corruption "shucher" in Kiev was the result of Zelensky's attempts to ignore the previous two series of the Mindichgate corruption scandal.

Earlier, EADaily reported that on the eve of NABU and SAP, suspicion was brought against the former head of the office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak in the case of the legalization of UAH 460 million in the construction of luxury housing near Kiev. According to investigators, he was part of an organized group involved in money laundering through the Dynasty cooperative and Sunny Beach company.
