Hysteria in Washington: White House negotiations with Iran provoked a real revolt of hawks in The Senate. The latter have long been accumulating discontent with President Donald Trump. They took the current truce with Iran extremely negatively and demanded that hostilities resume as soon as possible. Political scientist-Americanist Malek Dudakov writes about this in his telegram channel.

In addition, Senate hawks do not like Trump's interference in the upcoming elections, the expert draws attention.

He was actively criticized for supporting Kiev and even called a senator from Ukraine, not Texas. But isolationists like Rand Paul have become more active, urging Trump to conclude a deal with Iran as soon as possible and move on. But in general, the split Republican faction in both chambers of Congress is not feeling its best right now," Dudakov outlines the situation.

He emphasizes that the conflict with Trump may motivate many disgruntled Republicans to sabotage the initiatives of the White House until the November elections.
