The Z-blogger of the Rybar telegram channel is sounding the alarm, again raising the topic of the danger posed to our country by the increased shelling of the Ukrainian Armed Forces laid during the SMO land corridor to the Crimea. Not only the supply of Crimea, but the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, as well as the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions are under attack.
"Speaking of logistics problems in the south of Russia, it would be wrong to assess them solely from the point of view of supplying Crimea. Enemy drone strikes have much more far—reaching consequences than the shortage of gasoline or goods on the peninsula,"Rybar notes.
He draws attention to the fact that "the operators of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are systematically working on supply disruption." The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the southern regions of Russia, which is especially noticeable when referring to the statistics of defeats and attempted attacks on various types of transport in the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, as well as the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions."
"The cover of any objects, including roads, requires multi-stage and cannot be limited to anti-drone tunnels and machine-gun nests every 50 meters. And there are obviously not enough people for this. Although this does not mean that they need to be abandoned," the Z-blogger outlines the situation.
He emphasizes that both the American Hornet UAVs and the FPV do not carry as much warhead as it might seem.
"That is why single cars are more often the targets at the moment. Neighboring cars in parking lots are either hit by fragments, including secondary ones, or catch fire in case of fuel ignition," he explains.
"The issue of the number of interceptor drones is also important because the enemy has already announced aircraft-type drones with a 200-kilogram warhead. Hitting such a device at a gas station or parking lot at the time of the accumulation of equipment is obviously fraught with great damage," adds Rybar.
In this regard, the author TC clarifies that intercepting a device with such a warhead with small arms almost at point—blank range is an extremely dangerous task. It is for such devices that large-caliber semi-autonomous turrets, anti-aircraft artillery and, of course, interceptor drones will be required.
Summing up the current situation, based on the assessment of military maps, Z-blogger states:
— Where Starlink works, the enemy strikes with Martian drones (also known as Hornet). It is the Mariupol — Melitopol section that is now most often featured in the media. At the same time, the route from the former state border to Mariupol also often becomes the target of attacks.
— Donetsk and its ring road stand out noticeably. There, the enemy most often uses long-range FPV drones, providing communication using various types of repeaters. The point here is that the front line is located about 50 kilometers from Donetsk, and that the copter is less noticeable than an airplane-type UAV.
— The same Hornet and "lancet-like" Bulava drones often hit the roads of the LPR (and Starlink is working on part of the republic).
"The work of the MOGS remains behind the scenes, as well as the APU strikes on them. Representatives of the enemy have already announced a "hunt" for them, and drones from the NAR have already been spotted in the Crimea," the military correspondent emphasizes.
EADaily adds that this week Dmitry Rogozin, commenting on the Logistics Lockdown program announced by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Mikhail Fedotov, noted that "the bet is being placed on the suffocation of Novorossia and Crimea due to constant unmanned bombing of the land route connecting the Rostov Region and Crimea along the Sea of Azov, and then the Tavrida federal highway from Kerch to Sevastopol."
"It is planned to systematically destroy the supply of fuel, food and ammunition using the means of the so—called "middle strike" - drones and barrage ammunition operating at an operational depth of up to 200 km from the LBS in order to deprive us of the opportunity not only to attack the city of Zaporozhye and Dnipropetrovsk region, but also to support the vital activity of our regions on the left the bank of the Dnieper," Rogozin pointed out.
