Kyiv Independent sources on Ukraine claims that the country's authorities have received a signal from US President Donald Trump to act "more boldly" against Russia, since it is allegedly impossible to come to a negotiation process without pressure.

At the same time, the interlocutors of the publication in the United States did not confirm that Trump supported the enhanced strikes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Kiev considers strikes on Russian territory as a way to increase pressure on the Kremlin and achieve a "more serious" attitude to the negotiations, KI claims.

According to the publication, the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, also proposed holding a trilateral summit in the United States with the participation of Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, and "Donald liked this idea." However, the newspaper notes, such a meeting is unlikely in the near future.
