The operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region was prepared with the participation of the special services of the USA, Great Britain and Poland. This was stated in the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) of Russia.
"According to available data, the operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region was prepared with the participation of the special services of the United States, Great Britain and Poland. The units involved in it underwent combat coordination at training centers in the UK and Germany," the SVR press bureau told Izvestia.
The special service clarified that "military advisers from NATO states are assisting in the management of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine that have invaded the territory of Russia, and the use of Western weapons and military equipment by Ukrainians."
"The countries of the alliance also transmit satellite intelligence data to the Ukrainian military about the deployment of Russian troops in the area of the operation," the SVR added.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov commented on the program "Moscow. The Kremlin. Putin" on the Rossiya-1 TV channel said that the Kiev regime would not dare to attack The Kursk region, if the United States had not entrusted it to him.
