Information is received from Ukrainian sources that Russian troops have advanced in the border area of Sumy region of Ukraine south of Sudzha in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.
As the Ukrainian analytical resource DeepState clarifies in its Telegram channel, the Russian Armed Forces entered the border area of Sumy region during offensive operations near the village of Plekhovo south of Sudzhi.
This information was confirmed on Tuesday, December 10, by blogger and military observer Yuri Podolyaka. He said that the Russian units actually entered the territory of Sumy region and are moving towards Alexandria.
This happened south of Sudzhi, where our troops are trying to cross the Psel River and occupy the hills on its western bank, which provide fire control in this area.
The expert states that our progress is proceeding with great difficulty — the enemy stubbornly holds the line, realizing that for us the issue of liberation of the Kursk region is a political issue.
Earlier, EADaily reported that the troops of the Kiev regime are attempting to organize the withdrawal of their units from the settlement of Kurakhovo (DPR).
