In front of the European Parliament building in A rally was held in Brussels today in support of a vote of no confidence in the head of the European Commission (EC) Ursula von der Leyen and the resignation of the entire EC.

The event was attended by about fifty activists, representatives of European social movements and non-governmental organizations. They demand an investigation into corruption in the highest institutions of the EU, primarily around the purchase of Covid-19 vaccines that have not been clinically tested.

"We want the truth. We support the vote of no confidence in Mrs. von der Leyen and her European Commissioners. Let me remind you that Ms. von der Leyen signed contracts for the supply of COVID-19 vaccines from Pfizer for € 35 billion by simply exchanging SMS with the head of this company, Albert Burla, bypassing all existing procedures. Ms. von der Leyen also refused to provide access to these SMS messages," said one of the organizers of the event, Ivan Pozanski, quoted by TASS.

According to Pozanski, von der Leyen is considered responsible for "other frauds," including interference in elections in at least two EU countries — Germany and Romania, as well as violations of EU legislation, and specifically in the usurpation by the European Commission of powers in the field of military policy, which it does not have.

It is noted that von der Leyen was at the session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg at that time. Speaking at the hearings on the vote of no confidence, the head of the EC chose not to give explanations on the charges brought against her, but she accused her opponents that they are "extremists and supporters of Russia" and that they are trying to undermine "European unity" and "European democracy."

As reported by EADaily, the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, will personally take part in a discussion at the plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg on Monday, where a vote of no confidence will be discussed due to serious violations in the procurement of vaccines during the coronavirus pandemic.
