A 27-year-old Colombian is behind major arson attacks in Poland in the interests of Russian intelligence. This statement was made by the press secretary of the Minister-coordinator of the Polish special services Jacek Dobrzynski.
According to the press secretary, we are talking about the fires of construction warehouses in Warsaw on May 23 and in Radom — a week later, on May 30.
"The Russian special services, using the Telegram messenger, systematically and on a large scale recruited people of Latin American origin with military experience to conduct reconnaissance of the places indicated by them, and then set fire to selected objects and document the damage," the Polish special services claim.
27-year-old Colombian in Poland faces life imprisonment. Employees of the Internal Security Agency clarified that the suspect partially admitted guilt and gave evidence, which is currently being verified.
"These actions were ordered, controlled and financed by a person associated with the Russian special services. The suspect received detailed instructions regarding the purpose of the attack and the procedure for its implementation, including the manufacture of a Molotov cocktail (the so—called Molotov cocktail) and the use of a specific vehicle," the Polish counterintelligence reported.
Warsaw claims that the same Colombian set fire to a bus station in the Czech capital and was preparing to set fire to Prague shopping mall.
