The White House has not yet made a decision on the venue of the meeting of the Presidents of the United States and Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, but at least three options are being considered. This was reported on the social network by Jennifer Jacobs, senior CBS News correspondent at the White House.

She also names the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, as one of the participants in the meeting.

According to the journalist, one of the options

"The US is still working on a meeting place for Trump, Putin and Zelensky, but according to CBS News sources, the UAE and Rome (Italy) are being considered as possible options. I was told that Hungary is another potential place. The decision has not yet been made," writes Jacobs, quoted by Pool No. 3.

The White House has confirmed plans for a meeting between Trump and Putin next week, Sky News channel meanwhile reports, citing a senior official.

According to a source in the White House, the summit is scheduled for the end of next week, but the venue is still being discussed. Possible options include the UAE, Hungary, Switzerland and Rome.

The exact date of the meeting is also unclear and the Trump administration does not know whether Vladimir Zelensky will be at the meeting, the source said.

As reported by EADaily, Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed to media representatives on August 7 the possibility of meeting with his American counterpart Donald Trump next week and called the United Arab Emirates a "suitable place" for her.

Putin also said today that he is not against meeting with Vladimir Zelensky to discuss a peaceful settlement at the Ukraine. "I have already said repeatedly that I have nothing against it in general, it is possible. But certain conditions must be created for this. Unfortunately, it is still far from creating such conditions," he stressed.
