The earthquake in Afghanistan of magnitude 6.8 was felt by residents of Uzbekistan. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the country, in the Surkhandarya region it reached five points.

In other areas, tremors were felt at the level of 2-4 points. In Tashkent, the tremors reached 2-3 points.

The earthquake was also felt in a number of areas in the south of Kazakhstan, the country's Emergencies Ministry reports. According to emergency services, the tremors reached two points in Shymkent.

The earthquake was recorded on November 3 at 01.29 (November 2, 23.29 Moscow time) in the Afghan province of Samangan at a depth of 28 km.
