The Government of Ukraine has submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a bill on the creation of shopping malls in villages. This is reported by the publication "Country".

According to the document, rural shopping malls will be given the same powers as urban ones. They will keep records of those liable for military service and carry out mobilization activities.

As follows from the explanatory note, the bill provides for the transformation of the currently operating separate branches of district shopping centers (they are created at the level of united territorial communities and work mainly in rural areas) into full-fledged ones.

"This will optimize the processes of mobilization and prosecution of violators, relieve the heads of district territorial recruitment and social support centers, increase the efficiency of such centers and strengthen their institutional potential," the explanatory note to the bill signed by Defense Minister Denis Shmygal says.

According to Strana, mobilization in villages has been going on since the beginning of the war and is more stringent than in cities, since it is more difficult to hide from military commissars there. According to Ukrainian and Western media, some villages are literally depopulated.

As reported by EADaily, in Odessa, the fighters of the pro—Russian underground liquidated two employees of the local territorial recruitment center (TCC is an analogue of the military enlistment office on Ukraine).
