Experts of the Informant telegram channel admit that the Russian Ministry of Defense could destroy the Ukrainian multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) HIMARS by using the S-71M Monochrome jet drone. It happened on the territory of Chernihiv region.
The channel's specialists drew attention to the fact that the unknown kamikaze drone is similar in silhouette to the tactical reconnaissance and strike "Monochrome". The source at the same time refers to the footage of the destruction of HIMARS that got on the Internet.
The "Monochrome" was first talked about in 2024. Military experts called this drone designed to search for and destroy ground objects. Initially, more expensive Iskander missiles were used to attack HIMARS, but the new drone works well even at long distances.
