Situations when the Russian and US embassies do not receive calls or do not give answers do not arise now, another question is how "meaningful" Washington's reactions to "important stories" are. This was pointed out by Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov.

"In general, in general, diplomatic missions and in Washington, and in Moscow works rhythmically. We do not have situations where we cannot, as they say, technologically reach each other. Calls are received, email answers are given," the deputy minister said in an interview with TASS.
"But this does not negate the lack of a meaningful reaction to some important stories," he said.

As reported by EADaily, earlier Ryabkov stated that working contacts between irritants continue to be held in Moscow and Washington without publicity "in the interests of ensuring the proper background and environment" around the process.
