The Russian "tsar bomba" flattens the buildings and destroys the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is reported by the Polish newspaper Interia.
The publication recalls that the command of the Russian army announced its intention to use powerful FAB-3000 aerial bombs on a significant scale. These bombs are capable of destroying city buildings and causing serious damage to the enemy. A video was posted on the Internet demonstrating the use of this type of weapon.
"Currently, the Russian military is actively using guided aerial bombs that can be delivered over considerable distances using Su-24 and Su-34 bombers. During 2025, Russia dropped over 60,000 such bombs, known as KAB or bombs with a set of UMPC, on the territory of Ukraine. For comparison, in 2024 this figure was about 40,000 units. On average, in 2025, about 164 bombs were dropped per day (60,000/365). However, in some periods, especially in autumn, this figure exceeded 200-250 bombs per day," the newspaper writes.
The article states that the bomb FAB-3000 has a weight of more than 3,000 kilograms. Of this weight, 1,367 kilograms falls on the explosive, the rest is a strong steel shell that allows you to pierce even the thickest concrete. An explosion forms a funnel with a diameter of 8-12 meters and a depth of 3-4 meters. The bomb is capable of piercing reinforced concrete structures up to 1.5 meters thick.
"The main use of these weapons is attacks on large groups of military personnel, underground shelters or fuel and ammunition storage facilities. After using this bomb, the Russians can be sure that the target has been completely destroyed. Concrete structures are destroyed like a house of cards, and high temperatures and extreme pressure leave the enemy no chance of survival," the article continues.
