The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow received a petition from the investigation to arrest Ahmed Bilalov, former vice—president of the Russian Olympic Committee and ex-head of the Board of Directors of Resorts of the North Caucasus JSC. He is accused of fraud, which led to the deprivation of someone's right to housing.

Bilalov has been living abroad since 2013, in the USA and Great Britain, reports "Sapa Caucasus". He left the country after President Vladimir Putin publicly criticized him for the high cost and disruption of the construction of Olympic facilities in Sochi.

Bilalov is a cousin of Ziyavudin and Magomed Magomedov, the ex-owners of the Summa group. In 2022, they were sentenced to 19 and 18 years in a high-security penal colony for embezzlement of 11 billion rubles on government contracts.
