US Secretary of Energy Chris Wright urged to bleed Russia by buying oil from the United States.
Europe is a "victim of the war," and at the same time was one of the largest buyers of Russian oil and gas, the telegram channel Donald Trump in Russian quotes the minister as saying.
"Russia is financing its war by selling oil, natural gas and coal. Europe, the victim of this war, was by far the largest buyer of Russian oil and natural gas. And to this day they remain buyers of Russian natural gas. So President Trump is saying, 'Hey, European countries, you're helping to finance this war machine that we all want to stop,'" Wright said.
President Donald Trump offers unconventional ideas, the minister noted.
"We are going to stop large buyers or impede their ability to buy Russian oil. Absolutely. What is India doing now? It seeks to buy more oil from The United States is likely to buy more oil from Venezuela and from other sources around the world. After all, one of the ways to help end the war on Ukraine needs to bleed (leave without resources) the Russian military machine," he said.
