Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin instructed to submit a report on the investigation of the attack of a group of "visitors" on the residents of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

According to the press service of the department, the reason for the report was the information published on social networks about the group attack of visitors on the residents of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

"According to reports, the conflict initially occurred over a parking space. During the incident, the father and son were injured by a group of people who used bats and batons," the statement said.

The document notes that the victim's mother, who tried to stop the fight, also suffered. In addition, one of the attackers made public insulting statements to the victims and other citizens.

A criminal case is being investigated by the internal affairs bodies on this fact.

"The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation instructed the head of the investigative department for the Kamchatka Territory, V.V. Kulakov, to initiate the issue of transferring the criminal case to the investigative authorities The Investigative Committee of Russia, as well as to give a legal assessment to the public statements of the participants in the conflict, " the press service concluded.

Earlier, EADaily reported that the central office of the Investigative Committee of Russia will present a report on the progress of the investigation of criminal cases into the deaths of four children and a woman in the Moscow region.
