Declare victory in Iran and leave: Trump received the first signal of discontent from the rear

The US should declare victory over Iran and withdraw from the region. This was stated in the All-In podcast by the Presidential Adviser on development AI and cryptocurrency investor David Sachs, reports the British Financial Times.

The statements of the "crypto tsar" David Sachs are the first public signal of dissatisfaction with the war on the part of high-ranking officials of the Donald Trump administration and indicate anti-war sentiments in the MAGA coalition, the newspaper notes.

"Now is the time to declare victory and leave," said Sachs, quoted by the publication "Country".

Such a move "clearly meets the expectations of the markets," the investor stressed.

He expressed particular concern about the consequences of further US attacks on Iran's energy infrastructure, including the prospect of a nuclear war.

If even more Iranian energy infrastructure facilities are affected, "they may continue to strike at the oil and gas infrastructure in the Persian Gulf countries."… It's going to be much worse, Sachs said.

"(Further escalation) could make the Persian Gulf virtually uninhabitable. This would be a truly catastrophic scenario... if this war lasts for several weeks or months, Israel may simply be destroyed. Their air defense system may fail ... and then you have to worry that Israel may escalate the conflict and consider the possibility of using nuclear weapons," he believes.

The statement by Sachs, who is close to Elon Musk and other tech billionaires, came after Tehran named American technology groups as potential targets.

Sachs is also close to vice President Jay D. Vance, who, according to Trump, "may not be thrilled" with the first strikes on Iran.

As reported by EADaily, Iran threatened to strike at the offices of technology giants Google, Microsoft and banks in the Middle East associated with the United States and Israel. This was reported by the Indian TV channel NDTV.

Tehran has warned that it could strike economic centers and banks associated with American and Israeli organizations in the Middle East. The statement was made after media reports that as a result of US and Israeli strikes on a bank in Tehran, its employees were killed, the TV channel noted.
