In Kupyansk, the last "authentic call signs" of Russian fighters ceased to sound. This was announced by Alexander Khodakovsky, deputy head of the Main Directorate of the National Guard for the DPR, in his telegram channel.

"Judging by the reports coming from various sources, the latest "authentic call signs" in Kupyansk ceased to sound on the air… The Kingdom of Heaven to the guys — they steadfastly held on to the end," Khodakovsky writes.

On the eve of the military blogger Yuri Podolyaka, citing Russian military correspondents, reported that "the remaining guys, who defended the ruins of Kupyansk city Clinical Hospital for 100 days in complete encirclement (receiving drone supplies), fell in an unequal battle."

"A general who received a high award for the liberation of a settlement that has not been liberated. Now in Everyone curses his nets. The stain from the reputation will never be washed off. It will haunt him for the rest of his life. Exactly the reward was not worth it. Of course, we don't know for sure, but we can assume that people could have died because of his incorrect report... he was disgraced for the rest of his life. The only thing is that our military and officials live like this with shame. It was in tsarist Russia that the officers shot. They are not shooting now," the politician Oleg Tsarev comments on the incident.
