An attempt by the special services of Ukraine to purchase fiber-optic drones at one of Moscow's enterprises to commit terrorist attacks in the Russian capital has been thwarted. This was reported in the Center for Public Relations of the FSB of Russia.
"The attempt of the Ukrainian special services to purchase unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) used by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to organize the supply of units and defeat enemy equipment, controlled by fiber optic cable, capable of carrying cargo weighing up to 20 kg, was thwarted," the report said.
As indicated in the FSB, in the case of equipping them with explosive devices, the Ukrainian special services would have received powerful means of terror, which they planned to use against designated facilities in Moscow.
