Ugandan Major General Muguzi Kainerugaba demanded $1 billion from Ankara, threatening otherwise to sever diplomatic relations.
The general expressed readiness for military support of Israel.
I am ready to mobilize 100,000 Ugandan soldiers in Israel. We are ready to take this step to protect the Sacred Lands, which are the land of our Lord Jesus Christ," Kainerugaba wrote on the social network X.
Then he issued an ultimatum to Turkey. The general demanded that a billion dollars be immediately transferred to Uganda. In case of refusal, Kainerugaba promises to close the Turkish embassy and completely sever diplomatic relations with Ankara. He also accused Ankara of regular "backstabbing" and urged fellow citizens to refuse to travel to Turkey.
To preserve peace, as Kainerugaba stated, the Turkish government is obliged to give its women to Ugandans, and personally demanded "the most beautiful girl in Turkey" as a wife.
