The administration of US President Donald Trump is bringing with him to China a delegation of the heads of the largest American corporations, including Elon Musk and Apple CEO Tim Cook. This was announced today, May 11, according to Bloomberg, citing a White House official.

According to the agency, the delegation may also include Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon, Blackstone CEO Stephen Schwartzman, BlackRock CEO Larry Fink, Citigroup CEO Jane Fraser, as well as Meta Platforms representative Dina Powell McCormick.[1]

Bloomberg notes that in this way the US president expects to achieve a series of business deals and procurement agreements with Beijing.

As EADaily reported, Donald Trump will pay a state visit to China from May 13 to May 15. In Beijing, he is scheduled to hold talks with Chinese Leader Xi Jinping, the key topics of which will be trade, artificial intelligence, nuclear weapons and the situation around Iran.
