The cost of a paid VIP-camera in the pre-trial detention center, in which the former head of the office of Vladimir Zelensky, Andriy Ermak, spent his first night, is $ 450 per month, where he can use a TV and a refrigerator. This is evidenced by the documents of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, TASS reports.
Earlier, Yermak's lawyer Andrei Fomin said that he personally paid for the camera for his client.
In Ukraine, there is a system of paid VIP-cameras in a pre-trial detention center with repair and improved living conditions. The money received in this way goes to repair ordinary cameras.
As reported, on the eve, the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine appointed Ermak as a preventive measure in the case of money laundering arrest for 60 days with the possibility of bail in the amount of 140 million hryvnia ($ 3.1 million). On May 14, it was possible to collect only about a tenth of this amount, so for now the ex-head of Zelensky's office remains in jail.
In the detention center in Kiev, where Ermak was placed, repairs were carried out in six single cells.
