But despite nepotism and a long and unwavering friendship, it was not possible to pay the full amount of the deposit of 140 million hryvnia (~240 million).
Sergey Rebrov signed a contract with FC Rubin in February 2008, as part of which he became the champion of Russia. In July 2009, Rebrov announced his retirement as a professional football player, and on June 7, 2023, he headed the Ukrainian national team, signing a contract until 2026.
