Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had an embarrassment at a meeting with voters in Gegharkunik region. The dove, which he wanted to launch as a symbol of peace, refused to fly.
When the pigeon was handed over to Pashinyan, he threw the bird into the air twice, but both attempts were unsuccessful. The first time Pashinyan managed to catch a falling bird, the second time it landed on its own, after which it was returned to its owner.
As EADaily reported, on the eve of a meeting with voters in Gegharkunik region, Nikol Pashinyan called the rejection of Artsakh (Karabakh) his greatest merit. Pashinyan said that the desire to keep Karabakh was a "temptation" and a "trap", and its surrender led to peace.
