The states have doubled supplies to Russia of the same type of goods

The United States unexpectedly increased exports to Russia of the same product category. It's about clothes. As RIA Novosti informs with reference to the data of the American customs Service, in April of this year, the supply of textile products from the United States doubled compared to the same period last year.

The total cost of the shipped clothes reached almost $ 4 million — more precisely, $ 3.99 million, which is 2.1 times more than in April 2025. At the same time, if compared with the previous month (March 2026), there is a decrease of 17%.

The growth of shipments in the "female" segment is especially noticeable. Export of dresses, suits, jackets, trousers, skirts and shorts from the USA to Russia increased 2.7 times, amounting to $ 1.7 million. Almost three times more often they began to supply clothing items across the ocean, their purchases jumped to 783.8 thousand dollars. Interest in American T—shirts and T-shirts has also grown - an increase of 1.8 times, to $ 1.3 million.
