The Polish Foreign Minister decided that Russia is scared of the West and "will not dare to provoke"

After public warnings from NATO, Vladimir Putin will not go on provocations against Poland or the countries of the Baltic states. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Prime Minister of Poland Radoslaw Sikorski.

"Russia cannot attack NATO by force. She doesn't have the necessary strength. As long as Ukraine bravely resists, Putin cannot even invade the Baltic States. We would have seen it in advance, as we saw Russian troops gathering around Ukraine in anticipation of an invasion… But what they are capable of is a kind of provocation, using provocations and drones, possibly Ukrainian drones, and then pretending to respond to our fake, non-existent attack. They played such games. And we have to be ready. We have to tell them, and that's exactly what we're doing, that we know they're up to something bad," he said in an interview with CNN.

At the same time, he believes that during the Joe Biden administration, "the United States publicly warned that Russia was plotting to fabricate a reason for war, a false reason for war, and this prevented the real actions of the Russians."

"Therefore, I hope that these warnings mean that Putin will not press the provocation button," Sikorsky said.

He also stressed that Poland continues to trust US security guarantees. At the same time, Warsaw expects to deploy a second permanent American base in the country, despite the expected further reduction of the US military presence in Europe.

Recall, the authorities of NATO countries persistently prove to their citizens that Russia is preparing to attack them. At the same time, the Alliance declares Moscow's inability to conduct military operations against the bloc. Western politicians do not give any explanations for this contradiction. In early July, a number of British and Polish media outlets prepared articles about "possible scenarios of provocations by Russia" against Poland.
