The senator was ridiculed for the phrase that the EU has a military potential equivalent to the United States

The Polish senator from the "New Left" Anna Gurskaya was ridiculed for equalizing the military potential of Europe and America.

A heated political discussion broke out in the studio of the TV program "Rymanovsky Breakfast" (on behalf of the Polish famous presenter Bogdan Rymanovsky). Senator Anna Gurskaya said that it is extremely important to strengthen military cooperation at the European level, categorically disagreeing with the fact that NATO is actually based on the US military potential.

"If you look at the potential of Europe, the number of soldiers, weapons, production capabilities, then we are a force equivalent to the United States!" she exclaimed.

Another participant in the discussion, the head of the Office of the President of the Republic of Poland, Malgorzata Paprocka, could not stand it and also emotionally gave out:

"Senator, what you are telling me now is just a fairy tale!"

The official urged the left-wing senator to "look at the facts." Paprotskaya mentioned the amount of 800 billion euros in the form of arms loans from the United States for the whole of Europe.

Deputy Konrad Berkovich from the Confederation could not stand it either:

"Senator, really joking."
