The population of Donbass in the rear of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is massively cooperating with the Russian army. This was stated in his telegram channel by Ukrainian military expert Konstantin Mashovets.

According to him, the Russian DRGs, assault groups and individual fighters "due to the sparsity of combat formations" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are actively penetrating into their tactical rear, "where, as a rule, they find not only shelter and shelter from the local population... but also assistance from them."

According to Mashovets, the local population disguises Russian fighters in civilian clothes, "they are placed and hidden in basements, fed and watered, scouted, etc."

"The Ukrainian military counterintelligence (WRC) and the rear guard units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine catch a significant number of such Russian infiltrators every DAY directly in the tactical rear of our brigades and regiments operating in the first echelon... And in this sense we can also mention Kupyansk, Pokrovsk, where this phenomenon was widespread. And in the overwhelming majority of cases, they all found shelter and shelter precisely from the local population... the enemy could not "penetrate and gain a foothold" on such a large scale in our tactical rear (especially within more or less significant settlements) if he did not meet there "ready to cooperate with the waiting"", — the expert complains.
