The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced attacks on the Kapustin Yar test site with Flamingo missiles. This is stated in the telegram channel of the General Staff.
"In January 2026, the Ukrainian Defense Forces launched a series of successful strikes on a complex of hangar-type buildings, where pre-launch training of intercontinental and medium-range ballistic missiles is taking place, at the Kapustin Yar test site in In the Astrakhan region of the Russian Federation with the use of long-range strike weapons of Ukrainian production, in particular the FP—5 Flamingo," the report says.
It is noted that, according to available information, on the territory of the landfill "some buildings were damaged to varying degrees," one of the hangars received significant damage, and some of the personnel were evacuated from the territory.
