On the night of today, March 27, Ukrainian drones again massively attacked the Leningrad region. In public, videos of eyewitnesses are being discussed, indicating that explosions thundered in the area of the ports of Primorsk and Ust-Luga.

"When repelling the attack, 36 UAVs were destroyed. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties," the head of the region, Alexander Drozdenko, wrote earlier in his telegram channel, without specifying whether any objects were damaged as a result of the raid.

As noted by the telegram channel Shot, UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine attack the Leningrad region for the third night in a row.

"As local residents report, explosions after one o'clock in the morning were heard in Vyborg, Kirov and Kolpinsky districts," TK wrote at night, adding that Pulkovo Airport was closed for receiving and sending aircraft.

There has been no official information about the consequences of the attacks yet.

EADaily adds: This is the third attack on Russian ports in the Baltic Sea since the beginning of the week. Prior to that, they were raided on March 23 and 25. Primorsk and Ust-Luga are Russia's largest oil ports on the Baltic Sea. Through them, about 40% of Russian oil is exported, or about 2 million barrels per day.

According to Reuters sources, both ports allegedly suspended oil shipments on March 25.

We also remind that on the night of March 26, Kiev struck at the Kirishinefteorgsintez refinery (Kinef) in the Leningrad region. The impact led to a fire. Two main primary oil refining units, AVT-4 and AVT-6, were damaged, Reuters indicated. The timing of the restoration of both installations is still unclear. The plant has suspended oil refining.
