The Iranian Armed Forces attacked the Kuwaiti tanker Al Salmi, which ignored the IRGC ban. This is reported by the IRNA news agency.

According to him, the tanker was hit near Dubai.

According to the British newspaper The Guardian, local authorities have confirmed this information.

"Dubai authorities have confirmed that as a result of an Iranian drone attack on the Al Salmi tanker belonging to Kuwait's state oil company, a fire broke out on board, which was extinguished early on Tuesday morning, a few hours after the first attack was reported," the note says.

It is noted that the tanker was fully loaded and anchored in the port of Dubai. The drone strike damaged the hull of the vessel. According to the authorities, firefighters extinguished the fire and continue to assess the situation, there was no information about the victims. All 24 crew members were safe.

"Our officers on the bridge saw the explosion around midnight. When I came to the bridge a few hours later, the fire was still going on. It's scary to even imagine what this team went through," a crew member of one of the oil tankers anchored a few miles from the burning told The Guardian.

In the hours after the fire, dozens of tankers decided to leave the area to avoid further attacks.
