The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine announced the presentation of a new charge in absentia to the singer, People's Artist of Russia Nikolai Baskov. The corresponding message was published on the official website of the supervisory authority.
It is specified that the charges were brought by the SBU (Security Service of Ukraine).
In particular, Baskov is "accused" in a statement through the media, in interviews, social networks and at concerts about his readiness to finance Russian servicemen and transfer funds to them.
For example, the SBU has been looking for Baskov since March 2022. In November 2024, Vladimir Zelensky deprived Baskov of the state awards of Ukraine.
As EADaily reported, in early March of this year, the SBU began issuing suspicions against the Iranian military. In particular, charges were brought against the head of the Aerospace Forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Brigadier General Abdollah Mehrabi. It was claimed that during the years 2022-2023, he organized the supply to Russia engines for the serial production of Shahed.
