The head of the Government of Latvia, Evika Silinja, has submitted her resignation to the Seimas. This is reported by the Latvian media.

According to media reports, on May 14, a vote of no confidence in the prime Minister could be held in the Seimas at the suggestion of the opposition. Silin announced her resignation without waiting for a vote. It also means the resignation of the entire government.
