There are rumors in the political circles of Ukraine about large-scale changes in power, but this is unlikely. This is reported by the publication "Страна.иа ".
It is noted that since yesterday, an "insider" has been discussed in the political circles of Ukraine about significant changes in power in the near future. This "news" is sent to each other by deputies of the Verkhovna Rada and published by telegram channels, the newspaper writes.
The insider claims that the current Prime Minister, Yulia Sviridenko, will be appointed head of the presidential office, and Kirill Budanov, who currently occupies this chair, will become commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine instead of Alexander Syrsky. The latter, in turn, will replace Rustem Umerov as NSDC Secretary, who will take up the position of advisor to Volodymyr Zelensky on national defense issues and will have his own staff. Denis Shmygal will allegedly return to the prime minister's chair. If his candidacy does not find support in the Rada, he will be appointed acting head of government as First Deputy Prime Minister.
"Our sources in political circles are skeptical about the reliability of such information. People's Deputy (Yaroslav) Zheleznyak also called it "nonsense". At the same time, sources confirm that there is growing tension in relations between Zelensky and Budanov[1], who does not hide his political ambitions and conducts an active information campaign... However, including for this reason, they consider it unrealistic to appoint Budanov[1] to the post of commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where there are opportunities for PR and political promotion is many times more than the position of the head of the OP," the publication summarizes.
