Teenagers who mined the car of an employee of a research institute in the south-west of Moscow were detained

A criminal case has been opened in connection with the detonation of an explosive device on June 9 in the south-west of Moscow, the RF IC reported.

As stated in the message, on June 9, an explosion occurred in the city parking lot of a car belonging to an employee of one of the research and production enterprises on Vvedensky Street, where, as they say in public, the Polyus Research Institute, part of Rostec, is located.

"The investigative bodies of the GSU IC of Russia in Moscow, in connection with the detection and detonation of an explosive device on the street of the Vvedensky city of Moscow, opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under part 3 of Article 30, part 2 of Article 105, part 3 of Article 222.1, part 2 of Article 223.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted murder, illegal manufacture, transfer storage and carrying of explosives)," the department said.

The investigation, in cooperation with the FSB of Russia, established that the underage girl, on the instructions of the curators, took an explosive device from the cache, which she handed over to the underage guy. He placed this device, as well as a GPS tracker on the specified car.

"The onset of serious consequences was prevented thanks to the timely actions of the operational services. There are no casualties. The accomplices were detained on the spot. They are being checked for involvement in the commission of other similar crimes," the RF IC noted.

Currently, the defendants have been charged, investigative actions are being carried out with them aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the crime and the persons involved in its commission.
