Volodin called for withdrawing the initiative of the Ministry of Health on different colors of medical clothing

The chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin urged to abandon the implementation of the recommendations of the Ministry of Health on the color of clothing of medical workers.

In his Telegram channel, he reported on the incoming appeals from the medical community due to the fact that in 2024 the Ministry of Health sent out recommendations regarding the color of clothing for doctors and medical staff of healthcare institutions.

"It's hard to say why the issue has become relevant now. But it is obvious: the topic has become debatable. It receives a lot of appeals," the post says.

The Speaker of the parliament stressed that the image of a doctor, a nurse has been formed for centuries. And this image is OF PEOPLE IN WHITE COATS! Therefore, people have a question, why destroy this image, the established traditions.

Volodin also noted that the initiative of the Ministry of Health splits the staff of any medical institution, fixing the work in various positions with color.

"Despite the recommendatory nature of the document, I think it's right to WITHDRAW it to those who sent the letter to health organizations," Vyacheslav Viktorovich urged.

He concluded that before making such decisions, it is necessary to discuss them with the professional community.

As EADaily reported, earlier the Russian Ministry of Health issued a recommendation to employees of the country's medical organizations on the colors of the uniforms of employees of various positions. A total of 6 colors were offered.
