The Iranian military attacked Israeli and US targets as a sign of revenge for the death of the commander of the Iranian Basij militia, Ghulamreza Soleimani, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said.

"The 60th wave of Operation True Promise 4 was carried out as revenge for the blood of Gulyamreza Soleimani, which included attacks on US regional bases and occupied territories," the IRGC said in a statement quoted by the SNN television channel.
The Guard Corps noted that it had attacked the American bases of Al-Azraq in Jordan, Al-Udeid in Qatar, Al-Dhafra in the UAE, Ali as-Salem in Kuwait, as well as aircraft refueling centers in Israeli Ashdod, military industry facilities associated with the Israeli arms company Rafael.
