The formations of the paramilitary Shiite movement Ansar Allah (Hussites), which are based in Yemen, launched a missile attack on Israel, thereby entering into an armed conflict on the side of Iran.

This was reported on Saturday, March 28 by Al Jazeera TV channel, noting that the strike was carried out by ballistic missiles at important Israeli military targets in the south of occupied Palestine.

"Iranian-backed Houthi rebels have claimed responsibility for a missile strike on Israel, the first since the beginning of the war in the Middle East," the TV channel reported.

At the same time, a statement by the official representative of the movement, Brigadier General Yahya Saria, is given. He promised that the attacks will continue until the "stated goals" are achieved, and until the aggression against all fronts of the Shiite resistance stops.

As EADaily reported, the Houthis had previously warned that they would not allow America and Israel to use the Red Sea to conduct hostile operations against Iran and against any Muslim country.
