In France, the persecution of the former head of RT France, Ksenia Fedorova, has intensified

The deputy of the National Assembly of France, Sasha Ullier, appealed to the Paris prosecutor's office with a demand to check the activities of the former head of RT France, Ksenia Fedorova. This is reported by the French media.

Ullier clarified that he had appealed to the Paris prosecutor on the basis of article 40 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure, which obliges officials to inform justice about possible offenses that became known to them during the performance of official duties. At the same time, he previously called the situation around Fedorova "unacceptable." According to the deputy, she "acts in the interests of a foreign state" without being registered in The Supreme Body for Transparency of Public Life (HATVP), which, according to him, may fall under criminal liability.

In addition, the parliamentarian accused Fedorova of "interfering in the internal affairs of France" and said that her residence permit should be revoked, and she herself should be expelled from the country. He also criticized the French authorities, who, in his opinion, have legitimate grounds for revoking the ten-year residence permit issued by Fedorova in 2024, but have not yet taken advantage of this opportunity.

Recall that the situation around Ksenia Fedorova gained a wide political resonance in France after she got a job on the French TV channel CNews. French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barraud called her a "patented propagandist" and a "conductor of Kremlin disinformation," and government spokeswoman Maude Brejon said that her statements about the conflict on the Ukraine is being "completely turned over" the issue of responsibility for the conflict. On June 2, a group of MEPs led by French MEP Natalie Loiseau called on the European Union to impose personal sanctions against Fedorova.On June 4, French President Emmanuel Macron accused Fedorova of "spreading Kremlin propaganda."
